Happy Munkey, the beloved fruit company that has been bringing joy to households for over two decades, has a story as colorful as the products they sell. Founded in 2001 by siblings Sarah and Mark Thompson, Happy Munkey started as a small roadside fruit stand in sunny California.
The Early Days
With nothing but a passion for quality produce and a catchy name, the Thompson duo set out to revolutionize the fruit industry. Their first product? The perfectly ripe, always delicious “Happy Banana.” It wasn’t long before word spread about the cheerful fruit stand with the quirky name and top-notch bananas.
Growing the Brand
As demand grew, so did Happy Munkey. By 2005, they had expanded to include:
- Apples
- Oranges
- Pineapples
- Mangoes
Each fruit was carefully selected to meet the high standards set by the original Happy Banana.
